How to Select Marble Chips for Commercial Projects

On a commercial job, supply continuity and grading consistency matter as much as the chip itself.
Confirm continuity of supply first
A large floor poured over several weeks needs consistent material throughout. Establish whether the full quantity can come from one lot before the design is locked, because a tonal break mid-floor is very hard to remedy afterwards.
Specify the grade, not just the colour
A specification that says only 'white marble chips' invites substitution. State the size band, the packing, and any washing or drying requirement so what arrives matches what was priced.
Approve a physical sample panel
Loose chips in a bag do not predict a ground and polished floor. Insist on a cast, ground sample panel using the actual materials and retain it on site as the approval benchmark.
Plan the logistics
Confirm site access, offloading capability and storage before dispatch. Chips stored uncovered on open ground pick up soil and can arrive at the mixer dirtier than they left the supplier.
