12–20 mm Marble Chips

12-20 mm marble chips remove the smaller fraction of the 10-20 mm band, giving a coarser and more open surface. This suits large areas where the surface should drain freely and look bold.

What this size looks like

Large, clearly separated stones with open gaps between them. Strong texture at a distance.

Suitable applications

  • Large decorative beds
  • Free-draining ground cover
  • Feature landscaping
  • Around trees and shrubs

Packaging

Supplied in woven bags for smaller quantities and in jumbo bags or loose bulk for larger orders. Pick the packing your site can offload — jumbo bags need mechanical handling.

Bulk orders

For multi-tonne requirements, share the colour, quantity, packing preference, delivery city and timeframe. The bulk supply page lists everything needed for a firm quotation.

Size tolerance

Marble chips are screened, not machined. A 12–20 mm batch will contain some pieces slightly above or below the nominal band — this is normal for crushed stone. Where a tight grading matters, say so at the enquiry stage so the requirement can be discussed before dispatch. We do not publish engineering tolerances we cannot verify for a given batch.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between 10-20 mm and 12-20 mm?
12-20 mm excludes the smaller stones, so it looks coarser and drains more freely, but it is less comfortable underfoot.
Is this size suitable for driveways?
It is used on light-vehicle driveways. A compacted sub-base matters more than the chip size for stability.
Which colours are commonly produced?
White, grey, brown and yellow are most common in this grade.
