0.5–1 mm Marble Chips
0.5-1 mm marble chips are close to a coarse sand. At this grade the material behaves as a filler rather than a visible aggregate, so it is used to close the surface of a mix rather than to create a decorative pattern.
What this size looks like
Reads as a fine granular powder-to-sand texture. Individual stones are not distinguishable at normal viewing distance.
Suitable applications
- Filler in terrazzo and mosaic mixes
- Fine wall plasters and textured finishes
- Grout and joint filling between larger chips
- Craft and casting work
Packaging
Supplied in woven bags for smaller quantities and in jumbo bags or loose bulk for larger orders. Pick the packing your site can offload — jumbo bags need mechanical handling.

Size tolerance
Marble chips are screened, not machined. A 0.5–1 mm batch will contain some pieces slightly above or below the nominal band — this is normal for crushed stone. Where a tight grading matters, say so at the enquiry stage so the requirement can be discussed before dispatch. We do not publish engineering tolerances we cannot verify for a given batch.
