Appearance
Deep charcoal to true black, often with fine grey or white veining that becomes visible on the polished face. Black chips look dramatically darker when wet, which is worth previewing before committing to an outdoor area that stays damp.
Indoor and outdoor suitability
Suits both. Indoors it is popular in terrazzo, epoxy and resin floors. In open sun, dark aggregate absorbs more heat than white stone, so it is a better fit for borders and accent bands than for large barefoot areas.
How to choose the right chip size
Fine 2-3 mm black gives an even pepper effect in terrazzo. If you want visible individual chips after grinding, move up to 5-8 mm or 8-10 mm.

Packaging and bulk ordering
