Packing choice affects handling, wastage and cost. Here is how to decide before you order.
Common packing options
Woven bags suit smaller quantities and sites without mechanical handling. Jumbo bags suit medium bulk where a forklift or crane is available. Loose bulk suits large orders with proper site storage and offloading.
Matching packing to site capability
The cheapest packing is not always the cheapest overall. If a site has no forklift, jumbo bags create a handling problem that costs more than the packing saved. Confirm what your site can actually receive before deciding.
What to share when ordering bulk
Colour, size band, quantity, packing preference, delivery city or PIN code, and the required timeframe. If the material is for resin or display use, mention washing and drying requirements at this stage.
Storage on site
Store chips on a clean hard surface, covered where possible. Material tipped straight onto soil picks up contamination that shows in the finished floor.
